 There are a few other tickets filed here about similar camlimages
 problems. It looks like the code had changed in newer versions, so maybe
 we just need to update the port. But the newer versions are not mentioned
 on the project's web site. I don't know if that means that newer versions
 are not recommended, or just that someone forgot to update the web site.
 I've asked the developers:

 stable-release

 Thanks for that. I see through that link you provided that there is a 5.0
 version and a later one to come. Could we switch the port at least to 5.0?
 It seems old enough to hopefully have had any bugs ironed out.
